Vision
"A transparent government and engaged citizenry sharing and sifting vital information about all public matters--the who, what, where, when and why of politics--in real time via the Internet."
Goals
- Make transparency a national demand that candidates, elected officials, and lobbyists cannot avoid and must respond to.
- Build a national movement of sustained supporters demanding that government and “influence” information be available online and in real time.
- Pass legislation resulting in government information being online and in real-time.
- Make data a national asset that benefits everyone.
Ideas For Expansion
How should the campaign relate to citizens in their capacity as voters? Should the campaign focus on getting information into voter's hands in a format they can use on election day?
